French Rap

About 4 years ago, when my girlfriend at the time went to France she asked me what I wanted her to bring back. I said "toast." She asked again. I said "French rap." She brought me back a shirt.

Two years later, she went back to France. She asked me what I wanted her to bring me back. I said "French rap." This time she brought me back a Passi cd. I listened to it for nearly six months straight (I think you don't get sick of rap if you can't memorize the words).

This is where the story gets boring. I put the cd away for about a year and then just got it out today when I ripped it into MP3 format and remembered how "flippin sweet" (see Napolean Dynamite below) French rap is. The language is so smooth the music melts like warm butter. The cd I have is Les Tentations, but it looks like they've got a new album on their site. Don't judge by their crazy intros playing on their flash page. Once you get into the meat of it, it's good stuff.
