XL ads: the horrible aftermath

Ah, it's Monday, the sweet smell of Guatamalen Antigua scents the room and it's time for the morning after review. As I said, FedEx wins the Superbowl hands down. All the online polls confirm this. However, the women in the office sharply disagree, in their minds, the Budweiser commercial with the "streaking" lamb was cuter and therefore more worthy of selection. They also enjoyed the ABC promos for Desperate Housewives featuring manly men, mostly athletes discussing their favorite characters and plots. It didn't even register in my male reptilian brain.

All of this points to the very thin slicing of communication going on in our culture. It is affecting advertising and every other medium as well.
